Short-legged Horned Toads are fairly small frogs with the female Short-legged Horned Toads being larger than the males and can measure up to approximately 4.8 cm and 4 cm relatively from snout to vent. Short-legged Horned Toads are tan brown with a slightly lighter colored underbelly (similar to Romer's Tree Frog). The Short-legged Horned Toads also include a small pointy snout extending from the upper eyelids (hence the name, 'Short-legged Horned Toads')4) Short-legged Horned Toad 5)
