This is a Wikipedia-style database of the species and parks of Hong Kong. Like Wikipedia, anyone can conbute or edit a page.
- How do I edit?
Read this page first! First, register by clicking “Login” in the top right corner. Then, learn how to edit pages by going to the Formatting Syntax page. This database uses its own very simple code, or “formatting syntax”. Do not let it intimidate you! You will soon find that is very easy to to learn and to use. Finally, when you are logged in you will see that each page has an “edit this page” button at the top. Click on this and start using the syntax you used to edit pages!
- What kind of format or information do I add?
The HKEI database is still in its infancy. Since the HKEI is a crowd-sourced project, we also want contributors to help determine the standard format and types of information that each database page will use.
